Our food has lost a generation's worth of nutrients and most of us never noticed it happening. Just 1.5% of American farmland is truly regenerative. And the people growing what little real food remains are among the least protected workers in this country.

You already felt it before you had the words for it. Something in the grocery store that costs twice what it did five years ago and tastes like half as much. A rise in disease that no one can fully explain. A creeping sense that the food on your plate, however it's labeled, however far it traveled, it is not actually feeding you.

Just 1.5% of American farmland is truly regenerative. Regenerative agriculture is where everything works in harmony. Animals building the health of the soil, soil feeding the plants, plants feeding us — without pesticides, without herbicides, without the industrial shortcuts that have quietly stripped our food of everything it was supposed to give us.
